Nia
Nia is the first “bred-by” girl to join our program, and we couldn’t be more proud of her! She’s the daughter of our sweet Lucy, and while she shares many of her mama’s lovely traits, Nia brings her own unique spirit to the mix. She has a calm, soulful presence — the kind of dog who will rest her head in your lap and quietly gaze into your eyes, making an instant connection.
But Nia has a vigilant side, too! At the first sound of a goat or chicken, she’s off to check the perimeter, convinced she’s one of our Livestock Guardian Dogs. (We like to joke that she was raised watching them and never got the memo she’s not one.)
Nia is incredibly social, with a heart as big as her personality. She’s never met a dog she didn’t like and is also very fond of our cat — though the feeling isn’t exactly mutual. Her temperament and disposition are everything we hoped for, and we’re so excited for what the future holds for this special girl.
